Tracy and Chris | Intimate At Home Wedding | Seattle, WA

There is something so magical about a wedding at home. You get to invite feelings of love and family into your backyard, a reminder everytime you look out a window. Tracey and Chris were married at home on their back deck in the sweetest ceremony. They performed a hand fasting and cut a cake that was so uniquely them.

I think part of the magic of a backyard wedding is that no one will ever have anything similar. There isn’t a venue to rent, where weddings come in and out. There’s a relaxed feeling to the day- waking up in your own bed and going downstairs to get ready. Family coming over and knowing exactly where to go. Life slows down for a bit.

I feel that weddings should be a reflection of the road ahead. That looks different to everyone, but for Tracey and Chris, they knew they were already home with each other and wanted to incorporate that into their day and I love that.
